CSM holds a banquet in celebration of its 30th year

  Church Strengthening Ministry, Inc. celebrated its 30th anniversary with a banquet last September 21, 2019 at the Vikings Venue, Pasay City, hosted by DZAS personality Haydee Bernardo-Sampang. The anniversary theme was aptly called “A Journey of Faith,” reflecting CSM’s faith-filled story over the course of three decades. This special event was attended by CSM’s ministry partners in retail, printing, social media and para-church organizations, CSM authors, volunteer trainers, book display volunteers, CSM scholars, board members, previous and current CSM staff members, and their families. CSM’s first director and Chairman Emeritus Dr. William Gopffarth along with his wife, Darlene, flew in all the way from Texas, USA to be part of this milestone event. UP Professor’s Advocacy Featured in Cat Devotions Book

  Cats and dogs that roam the University of the Philippines in Diliman have Journalism Professor Khrysta Rara for their advocate. She owes her dedication to the cause of caring for animals on campus to a stray cat named Kitkat. Her story of how she founded Friends of Campus Animals or FOCA in the state university is in CSM’s newly launched book of devotions for cat people, And God Also Made a Cat . Professor Rara received copies of And God Also Made a Cat and So God Made a Dog from CSM VP for Publishing Joy Solina last October 17, 2019. Rara teaches journalism at the College of Mass Communication.   Popular vlogger Basel Manadil otherwise known as The Hungry Syrian Wanderer was given a copy of And God Also Made a Cat by CSM Marketing Manager Riza Rivera and Sales Supervisor Mark Rivera in his milk tea shop in Las Pinas last September. Manadil advocates rescuing and adopting stray kittens, cats, and dogs because he believes they deserve a home and love, too. 18 CSM Titles Launched at the 2019 MIBF

CSM Publishing (Church Strengthening Ministry, Inc.) launched 18 brand-new titles in a Grand Book Launch last September 13, 2019 at the Stage Area of the SMX Convention Center during the 40th Manila International Book Fair.  Out of the 18 new titles, 11 were written by local authors and 7 are from international publishers. Palanca Hall of Famer Asks for And God Also Made a Cat book

  Palanca award-winning children’s book author and Hall of Famer for Literature Eugene Evasco delightfully accepted his complimentary copy of newly launched CSM title, And God Also Made a Cat , during the 40th Manila International Book Fair. He personally received a copy of the cat devotions book from CSM’s VP for Publishing, Joy C. Solina and CSM’s Marketing Manager Riza Rivera last September 14, 2019 at the second floor of the SMX Convention Center. Lines from Evasco’s 2011 Ikalawang Gantimpala Tulang Pambata Isang Mabalahibong Bugtong , a collection of children’s poetry on cats, were specifically quoted by first-time CSM author Victoria Costina in CSM’s original book of devotions for Pinoy cat lovers. CSM Publishing Mounts a Book Expedition at the 40th MIBF

CSM Publishing successfully mounted a  Book Expedition  at the 40th Manila International Book Fair (MIBF). With a bigger booth space and an even wider selection of books this year, book enthusiasts and longtime CSM readers enjoyed the  All Books at P100  promo. The annual five-day book fair was held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex last September 11-15, 2019.   This year, CSM launched 18 brand-new titles: 11 from local authors and 7 from international publishers. Despite the unpredictable weather and heavy traffic, local authors graced the CSM booths with their presence as they held book signings, short interviews, and meet and greet with their readers.
